Nala the Pitbull

For those that know me personally you know that I absolutely adore animals and it kills me to see an animal in pain and suffering at the hands of a human. Animals hold a very, very dear space in my heart - since I was a small girl and I tried to rescue an injured Blue Jay. I have to change the channel on TV when a commercial comes on showing heart wrenching videos of tortured animals...

I almost try to avoid at all costs stories of abused animals because it literally gives me anxiety and I get so deeply saddened I have a hard time coming out of 'that' story...

I came across the story of a Pitbull named Nala recently on Godvine.com. Nala doesn't have a website or a Facebook page but the video below is so touching that I just had to share. Please watch the entire video. Now know that I don't necessarily think the people in this video went about everything in the best way - but they are by far braver than me and most anyone I know. I thank them for being so brave and strong enough to save the helpless...
