Gadget Awards are in!!!

The 2009 Engadget Awards have been announced!

I am thrilled to see my Motorola Droid on there as both best gadget and best smartphone of the year (reader's choice). Verizon Wireless must be happy and maybe they will lower the price on the Droid - a pretty hefty $199.99 including rebates. Worst gadget of the year was awarded to the iPod Shuffle 3G and I couldn't agree more. I was surprised when my 11 year old figured out how to work it because I sure couldn't wihout reading the manual.

The gadgets on this list are impressive and I can't wait to get my hands on some of them. I want to try the ereader Kindle 2.
